Series & posting help
Make a show people follow, one episode at a time
A series is a saved recipe for a show. Viewers who like Episode 1 come back for Episode 2, which is how small channels grow. This page shows how to set one up, run it on a schedule and post it.
Quick start (5 steps)
- 1
Create the series
Open Series in the top menu and press New series. Give it a name and describe what the whole show is about.
- 2
Pick niche, voice and look
These are saved once and used for every episode, so your channel looks and sounds the same each time.
- 3
Add episode ideas (optional)
Type one idea per line. Episode 1 uses line 1, episode 2 uses line 2. Leave it empty and AI plans every episode for you.
- 4
Make the first episode
Press Make next episode (1 credit). Watch the status change from Generating to Rendering to Ready, then press Open.
- 5
Post it
In the video window, press Post to YouTube, or use the other buttons for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Then make the next episode.
What each setting does
Series name
Shown on your dashboard and put into every episode brief as "Episode 3 of …". Keep it short.
What is the series about?
The most important box. Describe the world, the tone and the rules, for example "True unsolved mysteries. One case per episode, end on a question, never invent facts." AI reads this before planning each episode.
Episode ideas
Your own list, one per line (up to 60). When the list runs out, AI invents new episodes that fit and avoids repeating earlier ones.
Narrator voice
Pick a voice once. Hindi voices make Hindi scripts and captions for the whole series.
Visual style
"Best for the niche" is the recommended look. Illustrated styles (3D Cartoon, Storybook, Comic, Anime) keep the same characters across episodes better than random stock footage.
How often
Manual: you press the button. Automatic: every day, every 2 days or every week. The first automatic episode is made after the first interval.
Auto-post to YouTube
Needs a connected YouTube channel. Choose who can see the video: Private (only you; recommended while testing), Unlisted or Public.
Manual or automatic
Manual
You press Make next episode whenever you want. Use Choose the topic to write a specific idea for that one episode. Best while you are learning what works.
Automatic
ClipFaceless makes the next episode on its own every day, every 2 days or every week, even when you are offline, and can post it to YouTube. Use Pause to stop and Resume to restart the clock.
Every episode costs 1 credit, manual or automatic. A failed episode is refunded. When your credits run out the series pauses itself, so nothing is made or charged by surprise.
Posting your episodes
YouTube: one click
- Series page, Connected accounts, press Connect YouTube and approve on Google.
- Open any finished video and press Post to YouTube (choose who can see it).
- Or tick Post every finished episode to YouTube automatically on the series.
Videos go up as Shorts with your caption, hashtags and the AI-generated label switched on. A video is never posted twice.
TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X
- Press Download MP4 in the video window.
- Press the app's button: your caption and hashtags are copied and its upload page opens.
- Choose the MP4, paste the caption, post.
These apps allow automatic posting only after the app passes their review. We will add it when approved.

Series ideas to copy
Mystery
Unsolved Mysteries
True unsolved mysteries from around the world. One case per episode, end on a cliffhanger question, only well-documented facts.
Fairy Tales
Fairy Tale Fridays
Short retellings of classic fairy tales with a gentle moral at the end. Warm storyteller voice, same style every episode.
Animals & Nature
Wild Animal Facts
One surprising, true fact about a different animal each episode. Fast, curious and kid-friendly.
Scary Stories
Midnight Stories
Original short horror stories with a twist ending, suitable for general audiences, no gore.
Troubleshooting
+The Series page says a database step is missing.
Run migrations/003_series_social.sql once in the Supabase SQL editor, then reload the page.
+Automatic episodes are not being made.
Check that the series is not Paused and that Frequency is not Manual. The schedule is checked every 15 minutes and needs the Inngest server running (npm run inngest). After adding new features, open localhost:8288/apps and press Sync.
+My series paused itself.
It pauses when your credits run out (or a setup step is missing). The reason is shown on the series card. Add credits, then press Resume.
+Make next episode says a video is already in progress.
You can have 2 videos generating at the same time. Wait for one to finish. A scheduled episode that hits this limit tries again on the next check.
+Connect YouTube does nothing or says it is not set up.
Direct posting needs a connected YouTube channel. If Connect YouTube is missing or says it is not set up, use the share buttons: they copy your caption and you attach the downloaded MP4.
+Google did not give long-term access.
Open myaccount.google.com/permissions, remove ClipFaceless, then press Connect YouTube again and accept every permission.
+Only I can see the video on YouTube.
That is the Private setting, which is the default so you can check each video first. You can change it per post, or per series. YouTube can also keep uploads from apps that Google has not verified private, no matter what you choose.
+I pressed YouTube / TikTok and it only opened the upload page. Where is my video?
A website cannot attach a file to another app. Three ways to send the real video: (1) press Share the video file in the video window, which opens your device share menu with the MP4 attached (works on phones and some PCs); (2) connect YouTube for one-click upload; (3) press Download MP4, then choose the file on the upload page that the button opens.
+Can I post to TikTok, Instagram or Facebook automatically?
Not yet. Those apps only allow automatic posting after our app passes their review. For now the share buttons copy your caption and hashtags, then open the right upload page; you pick the downloaded MP4 and paste.
+Will deleting a series delete my videos?
No. The videos stay in Your videos. Only the series recipe and schedule are removed.
